Durante a manhã do dia 21 de Fevereiro, ocorreu o anúncio dos indicados as categorias da terceira edição do Critics Choice Super Awards, através do site da associação. Com foco em homenagear produções populares de super-heróis, ficção-científica/fantasia, terror, e ação, a premiação é parte da CCA (Critics Choice Association), responsável também pelo Critics Choice Awards. Os vencedores serão revelados através de um anúncio especial na quinta-feira, 16 de Março.
